Following installation, the clean solar energy directly powers Megabangna's electrical system, illuminating its lighting systems, enhancing cooling mechanisms, fortifying security systems, and energizing its diverse facilities such as restaurants, cinemas, and tutoring centers. This far-reaching initiative ensures that all users within Megabangna can tap into the vast reserves of clean, sustainable energy.

The Clean Energy Journey

WHA Solar initiates the project by conducting comprehensive site surveys, assessing the area, and drafting preliminary designs. These elements are amalgamated into a comprehensive clean power proposal, which is subsequently presented to Megabangna for approval. Upon consideration, a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) is signed, marking the official commencement of the solar energy venture.

Once the agreement is in place, WHA Solar diligently secures permissions from relevant government agencies or authorities. Once all necessary permits are obtained, they begin the direct supply of electricity to Megabangna’s power grid.

To monitor the production capacity or daily electricity generation, an application developed by WHA Solar accompanies the system, providing real-time data and insights into the solar energy production.

Sustaining Efficiency Through Maintenance

Efficiency is at the forefront of the solar energy project. WHA Solar maintains our own operations team to manage after-sales services, which includes routine maintenance, system inspections, and panel cleaning. This holistic approach ensures the seamless operation of the system, all orchestrated through the Real-time Solar Monitoring Platform.

Developed by WHA Group, this platform serves as the nerve center for monitoring various projects, including Megabangna's clean solar energy initiative. With over 120 projects and installations boasting a collective capacity of 180 megawatts, the platform consolidates data from diverse customers. WHA Solar's Operations team uses this centralized platform to assess various parameters, including electricity production and light intensity values. When issues arise, the Operations team is promptly alerted, facilitating swift resolution and minimal disruption.

The Solar Rooftop system is estimated to help reducing the shopping centre's electricity costs by over 1,040 million baht over the 25-year of solar power production. This is equivalent to mitigating the emission of approximately 210,592 million tons of carbon dioxide. This environmental benefit is akin to planting a staggering 600,000 trees, thus offsetting the impact of carbon emissions.
