Greenhouse Gas Emissions (GHG) refer to the scope of emission sources that an organization is responsible for or needs to consider when calculating its carbon footprint or setting Net Zero targets.

GHG emissions are categorized into three scopes based on the organization’s level of control or influence over the emission sources:
