Khlong Wang Tanode Basin Committee Visits WHA’s Wastewater Management and Treatment Project in Rayong

The Khlong Wang Tanode Basin Committee, led by Chairman Dr. Charoen Piyarom, recently visited the Map Ta Phut Industrial Estate Office in Rayong to observe some of Thailand’s eco-industrial projects. The Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand, the Water and Environment Institute for Sustainability, and WHA Group welcomed the visitors and gave them an overview of the company’s environment-focused projects in Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC).

The trip included a comprehensive tour of WHA’s Wastewater Management Project to Pluak Daeng Community, Rayong. Dr. Niphon Bundechanan, CEO of WHA Utilities and Power, leaded and explained the company’s Clean Water for Planet initiative and its wastewater treatment services available for industrial estates in the EEC. With a capacity of 400 cubic meters per day, the plant uses sustainable wastewater technology to help create a greener community for generations to come.
